Job Title: Senior Tax Manager

Location: Lagos

Role Description

• This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Tax Manager based in Lagos, with opportunities for remote work.
• The Senior Tax Manager will oversee all tax-related functions, ensuring compliance with regulations, developing and implementing tax strategies, and managing tax planning to optimize financial performance.
• Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing tax returns, liaising with regulatory authorities, and advising on the tax implications of business decisions. Additionally, the role involves analyzing changes in tax legislation, mitigating risk, and leading a team to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong tax expertise, including tax compliance, tax strategy & planning, and reporting
• Proficiency with tax software and financial accounting tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent are required
• Experience in financial services or banking is an advantage. At least 12 years of tax related experience required.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and the ability to interpret complex tax laws
• Experience in team leadership, strategic planning, and managing projects effectively
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
