Job Title: Finance Specialist - Payroll & Inventory

Location: Ijora, Lagos

Responsibilities
Finance Specialist - Payroll:

  • Process and manage payroll for employees accurately and on time.
  • Stay updated on payroll-related legislation and best practices.
  • Support finance team with ad-hoc financial tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
  • Handle payroll discrepancies and resolve related queries.
  • Prepare payroll reports and maintain payroll records.
  • Collaborate with HR to update employee payroll information.

Finance Specialist - Inventory:

  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies and perform regular audits.
  • Analyze inventory levels and provide insights to optimize stock control.
  • Coordinate with the procurement and production teams to ensure adequate stock availability.
  • Prepare inventory reports and assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Implement best practices to minimize inventory costs and wastage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline inventory processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on process optimization.
  • Proven experience in both payroll management and inventory control, preferably in the FMCG sector.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, inventory management, and relevant regulations.
  • Proficiency in payroll software, SAP, inventory management software, and MS Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
