Job Title: Financial Controller

Location: Warri, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts and reports and half yearly financial statements in line with current standards for submission to the management, Board and regulatory authorities.
• Coordinate, liaise and prepare annual audited accounts and financial statements for
• Ensure accurate posting and processing of revenue and expenditure transactions
• Liaison with external auditors for company
• Liaison with internal auditors for reviews and remedial actions
• Develop and submit company annual budget for approval.
• Track financial performance of company and provide advice/intervene when needed
• Report progress of company and explain any variances with respect to plan/budget
• Establish efficient tax planning to minimize tax exposure and expenditure
• Ensure compliance with statutory tax obligations
• Provide timely and accurate feedback on investors’ enquiries on the company’s strategy and financials
• Prepare investors report, attend and facilitate investor relations meetings, seminars, forum etc
• Manage all Loans and transactions
• Maintenance of fixed asset register/module in sunsystem
• Manage the professional development of direct reports.
• Ensure timely remittance of all payments and compute of tax liabilities
• Liaise with tax advisers/DIRS/FIRS
• Implement and monitor reporting framework
• Prepare presentations, financial model, analysis to support capital raising and acquisitions transactions
• Oversee monthly reconciliation of intercompany transactions
• Coordinate, review and analyse financial reports and operations
• Prepare monthly performance reports based on financial reports and operations and financial performance of the company.
• Prepare proofs and reconciliations
• Review and processing of journals and transactions into the general ledger
• Prepare full financial statement for the company.
• Manage relationships with local banks
• Coordinate company liquidity management

Salary
N500,000 - N800,000 monthly.
