Job Title: General Manager
Location: Ajah, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
- We are looking for a General Manager to lead all aspects of its business. The successful candidate will manage a team of catering staff for successful execution of catering events.
- Supervise catering staff activities.
- Supervise catering and waiting staff at functions.
- Adhere to and enforce employee compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Ensure all employees are working within outlined operating standards.
- Record daily expenses, income, inventory and personnel spending.
- Oversee food preparation, transportation and set-up activities to ensure successful event.
- Market and recruit new Clients for the catering business.
- Manage the food and beverage provision for functions and events.
- Create staff schedule to ensure appropriate staffing.
- Track stock levels of food, supplies, and equipment, forecast needs, and oversee ordering as necessary (shopping for supplies/groceries).
- Take ownership of budgets and cost control methods to minimize expenses.
- Address customer needs, comments, and complaints.
- Any other duty as specified by the management.
- Minimum of HND qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in catering or related industry
- Not more than 30 years old at December, 2022
- Excellent leaderships skills
- Social media literate
- Demonstrated ability to manage operating costs in accordance with budgets
- Comfortable setting priorities and delegating tasks as needed
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
- Must be a resident of Ajah and its environs
- Available to work on Saturdays
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
