Job Title: HR Officer

Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are searching for an experienced and skilled HR Officer with a microfinance background to lead our Human Resources department.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the HR department, developing HR strategies, and ensuring compliance with labour laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the HR department and ensure effective management of HR functions.
• Develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes employee engagement and retention.
• Collaborate with management to develop strategies for talent acquisition, retention, and development.
• Provide HR support to management and staff on recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
• Manage employee data, records, and documentation.

Requirements

• BSc/HND in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong understanding of microfinance operations and industry trends.
• Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of labour laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in human resource, preferably in the microfinance or banking sector.
• Professional certification in HR (e.g., CIPM, SHRM-CP, HRCI).

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 Monthly.
