Job Title: Human Resources Officer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Job type: Contract (Permanent)

Role Description

  • This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resources Officer based in Ikeja.
  • The Human Resources Officer will be responsible for managing HR functions, developing and implementing HR policies, handling employee relations, and job description development.
  • This role includes overseeing recruitment processes, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.

Mission

  • Assist in sourcing, screening, and shortlisting candidates for various roles.
  • Coordinate interviews, prepare interview schedules, and communicate with candidates.
  • Post job advertisements different platforms.
  • Ensure completion of all necessary employment documentation
  • Maintain and update employee files and HR databases
  • Coordinate employee training sessions and workshops.
  • Track training attendance and evaluate training effectiveness.
  • Maintain an active talent pipeline for future recruitment needs
  • Facilitate new employee onboarding and orientation programs.

Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • 2-3 years experience in a similar HR role.
  • Knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
