We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: ICT Assistant Manager

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Coordinate design and implementation with Head ICT to ensure alignment with area/cluster objectives and corporate strategic IT direction
• Identify and implement solutions to user challenges and concerns associated with the use of personal computer equipment
• Evaluating technology risks to develop a network disaster recovery plan and backup procedures.
• To be able to quickly and competently diagnose network issues and to resolve or externally escalate them when required
• To assist in the production and maintenance of documentation relating to the Company’s ICT system
• To assist in the administration of the Company’s communication systems including mobile phones, internet connection, and telephone system
• Takes responsibility for the day-to-day operational effectiveness of the Company’s ICT security and compliance with the responsibility of investigating Cybersecurity breaches
• Monitor, Diagnose, and adjust performance on LAN and networks
• Manage shared technology resources
• Carry out periodic preventative maintenance on machines to ensure their reliability and availability
• Manage secure network access for remote users
• Keep up to date with new technology

 Educational Qualifications, Certifications and Experience

• Educational Qualifications:
  • Minimum of an HND qualification / B.Sc Degree in Electrical Electronics, Computer Science / Engineering, or other applicable Degree course.
  • Necessary certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISA, MCSA, et al
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
