Job Title: Internal Auditor

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented Internal Auditor to assess, develop, and enhance our audit processes.
• The ideal candidate will conduct company-wide audits, analyze financial and operational data, and ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
• This role requires a high level of integrity, analytical skills, and a proactive approach to risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of audit processes and best practices.
• Conduct internal audits across various company departments and locations.
• Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and fraud risks, providing strategic solutions.
• Participate in audit discussions, presenting findings to management.
• Assist in the development of annual internal audit plans to strengthen controls.
• Utilize data analytics to detect and prevent fraud or internal theft.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, risks, and recommendations.
• Implement and execute audit program reviews in line with industry standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification is highly preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and financial software.
• High level of integrity, objectivity, and professional skepticism.
• 3-6 years of experience in internal/external auditing, preferably in a Big 4 audit firm (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC).
• Strong knowledge of audit standards, risk assessment, and compliance procedures.

Salary
N500,000 - N900,00 monthly.
