We are looking for highly motivated, experienced and focused individuals to fill the esteemed position below:     Job Title: Early Child Instructor (Teacher for Pre K and Kindergarten) Location: Karasana, Abuja Contract: Permanent Hours: Full Time Slot: 10 Openings Start Date: September 2019 Job Descriptions

• Organizing, teaching and mentoring a small class size of about 15 to 20 pupils.
• Responsible for the delivery of all subjects with particular emphasis on core subjects of Literacy, Numeracy, Music, Basic ICT, Understanding the world and expressive arts and design.

• Developing a curriculum that blends prime and specific areas of early years development
• Lesson planning and preparation; checking pupil's work; administering of assessement to ensure proper monitoring for tests/exams and production of results.
• Organizing, attending and supervising school activities such as excursions, school concerts, camps, sporting events, etc.
• Developing and fostering appropriate skills and social abilities to the optimum development of children, according to age, ability, and aptitude.

• NCE ( National Certificate in Education)
• Higher qualification in education and other field is an added advantage
• Previous experience will also be considered

• Excellent Organisational and Communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge and use of the English Language ( both written and spoken).
• Results-focused, positive and creative approach to teaching with excellent classroom and behavior management
• Good IT skills and the ability to use digital teaching aid technologies.

• NCE qualification in Early Childhood Education plus one year experience of working with children is desirable but not essential.
• However, successful applicants must be result-focused and enjoy creating a fun and focused learning environment

• Dusting and cleaning ceiling vents, surface areas, and counter surfaces
• Performing general sweeping, scrubbing, mopping of hardwood, laminate, or tiled floors
• Using vacuuming equipment; vacuums and cleans carpets, perform further treatments such as shampoo or stain-removal as needed
• Disposing of trash from bins and containers
• Polishing furniture and room accessories as needed
• Scrubbing sinks, basins, and toilets in private and public bathrooms
• Cleaning windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
• Maintaining and upkeep of all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products
• Ensuring safe and sanitary storage and care of products
• Keeping all public spaces neat and tidy
• Reporting repairs and replacements needed when encountered on the job

• Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during the daily routine, with ability to stand for long lengths of time; physically able to push vacuum cleaner for extended periods of time; ability to lift up to 25 to 30 pounds
• General knowledge of cleaning products, supplies, and techniques for cleaning
• Able to work nights, weekends, and occasional holidays

• Caring for Infants and toddlers
• Preparing food, drinks, and snacks for kids and ensuring that they are done with great personal hygiene
• Monitoring and supervising children's play actions
• Telling stories to children and teaching various activities to engage their brains
• Teaching eating manners, clothing and behaviors to children
• Providing a safe and nurturing atmosphere for the overall development
• Reading stories and teaching basic skills like singing, painting, and writing
• Developing and supervising children during play activities for improving their physical fitness
• Updating the development of physical and mental ability of children to the parents
• Ensuring that there is no threat of any kind to children in and around the facility and every child is adequately taken care of
• Teaching children how to maintain hygiene and perform daily basic routines

• The position will be responsible for preparing a variety of Children friendly nutritional local and intercontinental dishes
• Should ensure the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic.
• Washing utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately. Sorting, storing and distributing ingredients.
• Making of the list of ingredients required on a weekly and basis
• Design weekly and monthly menu schedules

• Serve food to children (breakfast, Lunch, and Snacks) in the proper set.
• Responsible for consolidation and proper storage of food after meals.
• Carry dishes to and out of dining areas
• Clean up after meals and ongoing cleaning to maintain the highest levels of sanitation in the kitchen.
• Dishwashing
• Beverage preparation i.e. bug juice, fruit juices, and Tea
• Sweeping and mopping at the end of the day.

• Minimum of SSCE
• Must hold training on kitchen/catering services
• Experience of précising and presenting information is desirable but not essential.
