The Kwara State University of Education (KWASUED), Ilorin, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill various vacant Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff positions in the institution:

1. Teaching Staff Positions

Applications are invited for the ranks of Senior Lecturer, Lecturer I, Lecturer II, and Assistant Lecturer in the following areas:

Qualifications and Requirements

a. Senior Lecturer (CONUASS 05)

• Ph.D. in relevant field of Education.
• Minimum 6 years cognate teaching experience.
• At least 15 refereed scholarly publications in reputable outlets.
• Evidence of research supervision (especially Master’s level).

b. Lecturer I (CONUASS 04)

• Ph.D. in relevant field of Education.
• At least 8 scholarly publications.
• Minimum 4 years teaching experience.

c. Lecturer II (CONUASS 03)

• Ph.D. in relevant field of Education.
• At least 4 scholarly publications.
• Minimum 3 years teaching experience.

d. Assistant Lecturer (CONUASS 02)

• Master’s degree in relevant field of Education (with Ph.D. grade).
• Evidence of potential for academic career.

e. Librarian I (CONUASS 03)

• First degree in Library & Information Science.
• Master’s degree in Library & Information Science.
• Minimum 3 years cognate experience.
• At least 4 publications in reputable outlets.

f. Librarian II (CONUASS 02)

• First degree and Master’s degree in Library & Information Science.
• Evidence of scholarship potential.

Additional Requirements for Teaching Staff:

• Minimum 5 O’Level credits (including English & Mathematics).
• Teaching qualification in cognate subject.
• ICT proficiency from government-recognized institution.
• NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.

2. Non-Teaching Staff Positions

Registry

• Assistant Registrar (CONTISS 09) – Master’s + 3 years relevant experience.
• Administrative Officer II (CONTISS 07) – Bachelor’s degree.

Bursary

• Accountant II (CONTISS 07) – B.Sc Accounting.

Library

• Senior Library Officer (CONTISS 08) – B.Sc in Library & Information Science + 3 years experience.

Internal Audit

• Senior Internal Auditor (CONTISS 09) – B.Sc & M.Sc in Accounting + ICAN/ANAN + 3 years experience.

Procurement

• Senior Procurement Officer (CONTISS 08) – Bachelor’s in Purchasing/Supply/Marketing/Business Admin/Economics + 3 years experience.

Information/Protocol Unit

• Information/Protocol Officer (CONTISS 08) – B.A. Mass Comm./English + Master’s in relevant field.

Legal Unit

• Legal Officer I (CONTISS 08) – LLB, BL.

Works/Physical Planning

• Engineer I (CONTISS 08) – Master’s in Civil/Mech/Electrical Engr. + 3 years experience.
• Pupil Architect I (CONTISS 08) – Master’s in Architecture + ARCON registration + 3 years experience.
• Quantity Surveyor (CONTISS 08) – B.Sc Quantity Surveying + QSRBN + 3 years experience.

Science Laboratory

• Higher Laboratory Technologist (CONTISS 07) – B.Sc/HND in Lab Tech + NISLT membership.

ICT Unit

• Computer Electronics Engineer II (CONTISS 07) – B.Sc in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engr. (COREN registrable).
• Systems Programmer/Analyst II (CONTISS 07) – B.Sc Computer Science + proficiency in programming/system analysis.

Clinic

• Senior Nursing Officer (CONTISS 09) – B.Sc Nursing + 5 years experience + NMCN registration.
• Staff Nurse (CONTISS 07) – SSCE with 5 credits + NRN/NRM/SCM.

Academic Planning Unit

• Planning Officer II (CONTISS 07) – Bachelor’s in Mathematics/Statistics/Economics/Educational Management with specialization.

General Non-Teaching Requirements:

• NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
• ICT proficiency.
