We are recruiting to to fill the position below:

Job Title: Microbiologist - Crown

Location: Ijebu-Ode, Ogun

Job Purpose

• This position is accountable for the microbiological examination of finished goods, the environment, analyses of the findings and recommendation of correction and corrective measures as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Carry out microbiological analysis on intermediate and final products to ensure distribution of high-quality products to the customers.
• Ensure good Housekeeping/Hygiene practices of infrastructure and work environment within the manufacturing and total plant operating area.
• Collect samples from Customers and support in Laboratory management
• Inspection of manufacturing processes to check for possible contamination.
• Microbiological analysis of drinking water and documentation of results and activities

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Science Laboratory Technology (Biology/Microbiology option) or any science related course
• 1-3 years experience in related industry
• Good statistical knowledge and experience of document control
• Good knowledge of root cause analysis
• Strong Numerical and Analytical Skills
• Knowledge of ISO 22000, ISO 14001 and Environmental Management System (EMS)
• Management System and audit experience will be an advantage
