The Nigerian Army University, Biu (NAUB), Borno State, is a conventional University and currently has five faculties as follows: Faculty of Engineering Technology, Faculty of Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Computing, Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences, and Faculty of Arts, Management and Social Science.

Academic Staff Positions

Job Title: Senior Lecturer

Location: Biu, Borno

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Ph.D with 10 publications and 6 years of relevant experience.
• Candidate must have a minimum of second-class lower Degree apart from the post-graduate Degree(s).

 

Job Title: Assistant Lecturer

Location: Biu, Borno

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an Academic Master's Degree.
• Candidates must have a minimum of a second-class lower Degree apart from the post-graduate Degree(s).

 

Job Title: Professor

Location: Biu, Borno

Requirements

• Requires a Ph.D Degree with 20 publications, 12 years of cognate experience and must be the lead author in at least 10 publications.
• Candidates must have a minimum of second-class lower Degree apart from the post-graduate Degree(s).

 

Job Title: Lecturer I 

Location: Biu, Borno

Requirements

• Requires a PhD Degree with at least 5 publications plus 3 years' Post qualification experience or Master's Degree with 7 publications and 5 years of cognate experience.
• Candidates must have a minimum of second-class lower Degree apart from the post-graduate Degree(s).

 

Job Title: Lecturer II

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a PhD, or a Master's Degree with relevant Experience and professional certifications.
• Candidates must have a minimum of second-class lower Degree apart from the post-graduate Degree(s).

 

Job Title: Associate Professor

Location: Biu, Borno
Faculty: Arts and Management Sciences
Department: Accounting

Requirements

• Requires a Ph.D with 15 publications, 9 years of cognate experience and must be the lead author in at least 5 publications.
• Candidates must have a minimum of second-class lower Degree apart from the post-graduate Degree(s).

 

Job Title: Graduate Assistant

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a First Degree with First Class and Second-Class Upper.
