However, we have been in the Solar energy business since 2010 (10 years ago), while Battery Hunters Limited as subsidiary was registered on 19th July, 2019. At O J Wale Pillars Metal and Tech Limited, we are known for innovative and exceptional after-sales service and support for all our Clients and customers through our seasoning Engineers and Customers Service representatives as we provide alternative energy solutions to each home, organizations, schools, industries, government agencies and non-governmental parasternal. Job Title: Operations Manager

Location: Oshodi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Assist with developing company working policy in line with industry/company goals.
  • Assist with recruitment of staff, selection, training in accordance to roles requirements and responsibilities
  • Develop/review operations systems by determining product handling, storage requirements; develop, implement, enforce, and evaluate policies and procedures; develop processes for receiving product, equipment utilisation, inventory management, and dispatch.
  • Works with the engineering department in provision of Installation and after sales services to customers.
  • Work with customer Care, in customer management, aftersales services and conflicts resolution
  • Manage relationship with key operations vendors
  • Work closely with the inventory manager and team to perform analysis of our inventory and ensure that all inbound and outbound products are properly inspected, stored and dispatched other outlets and that the documentation is done accurately.
  • Oversees the logistics on prompt delivery of product and service, vehicle repairs and maintenance, documentation and advise on trip cost and reporting etc
  • Review and approve all operational invoices and ensure they are submitted for payment
  • Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
  • Communication of Policies and operating policies to members of staff
  • Responsible for all department managers and supervisors with review/approval responsibility for all operations employees
  • Have oversight of the purchase, storage, dispatch of all scrap batteries between stores and loading out to Factories and ensures proper reporting and documentation.
  • Manages the Engineering department in sorting of scrap for reusable batteries for upgrade and resale as fairly used.
  • Forecast requirements; prepare annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyze variance; initiating corrective actions.
  • Work with Inventory on stock management to know the products with highest demand rate and restocking processes.
  • Have oversight of the movement of products amongst our sales outlets
  • Manages the aftersales, in relation to products returned by customers with the Sales Rep, Customer Care and Engineering department
  • Serve as primary point of contact when there are customer issues related to product quality, customer service, or accidents and mishaps on-site.

Other Requirements / Skills

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification
  • Minimum of 4 years of work experience in similar capacity (Experience in solar solutions company would be an added advantage)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize and shift swiftly between tasks.
  • Proficiency in major office software applications.
  • Ability to articulate and communicate clearly and precisely when giving direction or interacting with staff, volunteers, apprentices, vendors and the general public.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with people of diverse races, ethnicities, ages, and sexual
  • orientations in a multicultural environment.
  • Ability to manage stress, multiple tasks, deadlines, interruptions and multiple priorities; and to work cooperatively while maintaining a pleasant, professional demeanor.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and diplomacy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Record of organizational leadership and follow-through.
  • Strong work ethic and a sense of urgency.
  • Able to work in a fast pace work environment.

Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 / month.
