We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Production Officer - Golden Pasta

Location: Iganmu, Lagos

Purpose of the Job

• To oversee and coordinate production activities of the shop floor, driving continuous improvement initiatives, training employees, developing standards, and analyzing plant efficiency losses to implement improvement plans.

The Job

• Oversee production activities on the shop floor, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and production schedules.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production workflows, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Engineering, to identify and implement improvements.
• Analyze production data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas for cost reduction.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production workflows, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
• Monitor product quality and report any defects or irregularities to the Quality Assurance team.

Qualifications

• HND / B.Sc. in Engineering / Science.
• Management Training Certificate will be an added advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a related industry.
• Certification in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related continuous improvement methodology will be added advantage.

The Person Must:

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with plant efficiency loss analysis and improvement planning.
• Ability to adapt to long working hours and strenuous working conditions.
