Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer
Location: Yaba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• We need a dynamic, creative, flexible, and experienced team members with a passion for everything technology and a commitment to add their quota to the success of our vision.

Duties

• Develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Monitor debugging process results
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements and ensure consistent project execution.
• Plan, create, and manage the overall quality planning strategy
• Identify quality assurance process bottlenecks and suggest actions for improvement
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Test current products and identify deficiencies
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
• Develop and monitor performance metrics for all stages of the production process

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as QA software engineer.
• Familiar with native android and ios development frameworks
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Have a sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• A good team player
• Good time-management skills
• Can take the initiative and adapt to a fast-paced work environment
• Dev ops & UI/UX skills is an added advantage
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black-box testing, hands-on experience with automated testing tools
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
• Experience working in an Agile / Scrum development process
• Experience with performance and/or security testing

Skills:

• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
• Dev Ops & UI/UX
• Strong coding
• Design & analytic skills.
