Job Title: Quality Assurance Officer

Location: Yaba, Lagos
Work Type: Full time
Work Hours: 9am - 7pm Mondays - Sundays (one day off)
Availability to start: As soon as possible

About the Job

• Our client is in search of a Quality Control Officer who will ensure high quality of output with minimal wastage and ensure that all necessary procedures and products are inspected to a high standard.
• As a Quality Control Officer, you must ensure high-quality food is served to the customers to increase the restaurant's demand.

Roles and Responsibilities
Your responsibilities would include but not be limited to;

• Establish and evaluate the adequacy of quality assurance standards.
• Investigate customer complaints and rejected orders.
• Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.
• Approve all finished products by confirming specifications and standards.
• Evaluate the packaging material to avoid food contamination.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with set regulations.
• Develop, recommend and monitor preventive and corrective actions to improve the food production process.
• Keep an accurate log of food purchase and food production.
• Other administrative quality control functions.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Science or Business-based programs.
• In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and legal standards.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Previous experience in restaurant management.
• Strong attention to detail, observation, organizational, and leadership skills.

Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 / month.
