Job Title: Receptionist

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description

  • We are seeking a well-presented and organized Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our construction firm.
  • The ideal candidate who should be within 24- 29 years would provide professional front-desk support, manage communications, and assist with administrative duties to ensure smooth daily operations within the office.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and contractors in a professional manner.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
  • Coordinate with site and office teams to ensure efficient internal communication.
  • Maintain accurate visitor logs and ensure compliance with company security procedures.
  • Assist the HR/Admin team with basic record keeping and logistics arrangements.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized reception area and meeting rooms.
  • Handle document filing, photocopying, and mail distribution.
  • Support administrative functions such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and handling inquiries.

Qualifications and Education

  • Minimum of OND or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office communication tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
