Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Job Description

  • We are seeking friendly, professional, and patient-focused Customer Service Representatives to join our front desk and patient support team at our Abule Egba facility.
  • We are dedicated to providing compassionate, efficient, and high-quality healthcare services, and we are looking for individuals who are passionate about creating positive first impressions, assisting patients and visitors, and contributing to an excellent overall patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients, visitors, and clients warmly and professionally upon arrival.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
  • Update patient records in the electronic health system and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with basic administrative tasks such as filing, scanning documents, and preparing reports as needed.
  • Promote clinic services, special offers, and health awareness programs to patients when appropriate.
  • Manage front desk operations, including patient registration, appointment scheduling, check-in/check-out processes, and billing inquiries.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, provide information about services, direct calls appropriately, and handle appointment bookings.
  • Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and necessary documentation accurately.
  • Guide patients through clinic processes, explain procedures, and direct them to the relevant departments or waiting areas.
  • Handle patient complaints, concerns, and feedback courteously, escalating complex issues to the Customer Service Manager when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of OND / HND / BSc in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, Mass Communication, Hospitality Management, or any related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in customer service, reception, front desk, or client-facing roles (experience in a healthcare, hospital, or clinic setting is a strong advantage).
  • Good command of English; additional local language skills (Yoruba, Pidgin, etc.) are highly desirable.
  • Pleasant appearance, neat dressing, and professional conduct at all times.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a warm, approachable, and professional demeanor.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational skills.
  • Discretion and strict adherence to patient confidentiality and ethical standards.
  • Strong customer service orientation with empathy, patience, and the ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages, backgrounds, and conditions.
  • Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, email, and preferably experience with healthcare management software or EHR systems).
