Job Title: Site Engineer

Location: Kosofe, Ojota, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

A Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of construction projects on-site.
They ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
They manage the technical aspects of a project, providing expertise, problem-solving, and coordination between different teams.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the execution of construction activities, ensuring adherence to plans and specifications.
Manage project schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Solve technical issues and provide solutions to on-site challenges.
Evaluate and negotiate with contractors and subcontractors.
Oversee the procurement of materials and services
Implement cost-saving measures and manage changes to the project scope.
Identify and assess project risks related to costs.
Prepare valuations for completed work.
Finalize project accounts and prepare final cost reports.
Implement quality control procedures to ensure work meets required standards.
Manage site operations, including site setup, logistics, and organization.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Monitor project progress and prepare regular progress reports.
Interpret technical drawings and specifications, etc.
Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
Collaborate with architects and other project stakeholders etc.
Analyze project plans and specifications to determine material, labor, and equipment costs.
Any other assigned responsibility.
