Job Title: Software Tester

Job Summary

• The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in Functional and Usability testing, ensuring the delivery of high- quality software solutions to our clients. Key Responsibilities:
• Here are the key responsibilities of a Senior QA Engineer, including API, web, mobile, and performance testing, presented as bullet points:
• Develop and execute manual test plans, test cases, and test scripts with a strongfocuson product functionality and user experience for various platforms (API, web, mobile).
• Develop and execute high level test cases for backend APIs and external integrations.
• Apply mathematical reasoning and analytical skills to validate complex calculations, workflows, and data processing within the product. Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing to identify, document, and track defects.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and business analysts todevelop deep product knowledge and anticipate potential risk areas.
• Contribute to automation efforts by writing and maintaining basic automated test scriptsfor API, web, and mobile applications (Using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks) and integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for all platforms.
• Participate in sprint planning and provide accurate test effort estimations.
• Provide clear, actionable feedback and maintain thorough documentation of test cases, results, and quality metrics.
• Mentor junior QA team members on testing methodologies and tools for API, web, andmobile testing.
• Propose and implement process improvements for testing across all platforms. Advocate for quality assurance best practices in API, web, and mobile development processes.
• Conduct performance and load testing to ensure scalability and reliability of web andmobileapplications.
• Ensure data validation and database testing to confirm accuracy and integrity acrossback-end systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple tasks effectively.
• Proven experience in manual and automated testing for web, mobile, and API applications.
• Familiarity with software development life cycle, agile methodologies, and CI/CDprocesses.
