Job Title: Team Lead – Power Plant Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Team Lead Power Plant Electrical Engineer to operate, supervise, and manage the electrical systems and maintenance activities of gas-fired power plants. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on and leadership experience with MWM CG170 and CAT G3520 generator sets.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and supervise the maintenance of MWM CG170 and CAT G3520 gas engines.
• Lead and coordinate the electrical maintenance team to ensure optimal plant performance.
• Monitor plant performance and prepare technical and maintenance reports.
• Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and upgrades of electrical systems.
• Diagnose electrical faults and carry out corrective and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years experience in power plant operations and maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and reporting skills.
• Relevant professional certifications are an added advantage.
• Proven experience working with MWM CG170 and CAT G3520 engines.
• Strong knowledge of power plant electrical systems, switchgear, control panels, and protection systems.
• Leadership and team management skills.
