Nigeria Distilleries Limited - We are the largest Manufacturer of Spirits and Wines in Nigeria; NDL was incorporated in 1961 with the mission to offer the best brands to a market thirsty for excellent quality wines and spirits. A wholly Nigerian-owned company, NDL began production in 1979 with the blending and bottling of international brands like Dubonnet, Ambassadeur, Suze, Campari, Cointreau, Dorville Brandy, Pimms, and Martini. Currently we produce premium drinks like the well-known Seaman’s Schnapps prayer drink, Lord’s Dry Gin, Calypso, Bacchus Wine, etc.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:



Job Title: Territory Sales Manager

Locations: Afikpo - Ebonyi, Offa - Kwara and Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Purpose of Job

  • Responsible for the efficient redistribution of company products within assigned or planned locations in an area office, thus drive retail sales in outlets.

Duties & Responsibilities
Target/ Territory Coverage & Redistribution Achievement :

  • Effective covering of assigned territory/retail outlets
  • Generate orders & advice on appointing new retailers
  • Provide sales services to appointed retailers by selling products within the territory/outlet
  • Effective redistribution of products in the assigned territory
  • Executes approved redistribution activity at the area level.
  • Achieve sales target as per plan
  • Breakdown of territory/outlet targets to customers

Market Intelligence:

  • Monitor & provide feedback to boss/management with happenings in trade
  • Track and report competition’s performance, activity and campaigns
  • Spot & promptly report opportunities in the market place.

Personal Effectiveness:

  • Plan & execute weekly journey plan which will be agreed by the RBM
  • Prepare weekly, monthly reports and other relevant reports as required
  • Collate expenses incurred at the end of every week to be approved by the RBM.
  • Ensure PJP is authorized & adhered to.

Merchandizing/ Promotional Activities:

  • Conduct in-bar and other consumer focused promotional events
  • Ensure sited placement of POS merchandising materials.
  • Ensure products are well merchandized on shelf

Reporting:

  • Report on state of Billboards/out of Home {OOH} and POS deployment.

Job Requirements

  • HND / Bachelor's Degree
  • 2 + years’ of sales experience within the FMCG/Manufacturing industry
  • Good time management skills and must be self-disciplined
  • MS Office Tools
  • Customer Management Skills
  • Trainable, Good Attitude and Possesses Integrity.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Solid communication skills (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills
