Compliance Specialist Duties & Responsibilities

The role and function of a Compliance Specialist includes the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Consulting with the legal department and advising leadership and management on compliance matters.
  • Developing and providing employee training on compliance policies, practices, and reporting systems.
  • Identifying, investigating, and reporting compliance issues, irregularities, and violations.
  • Communicating with government agencies.
  • Preparing and filing compliance reports.
  • Tracking and responding to complaints.
  • Maintaining records of compliance activities.
