Job Summary

  • We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales operations across designated territories.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing sales teams, expanding market presence, and ensuring excellent customer relationships.
  • This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of field sales operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise sales representatives within the assigned area.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and market-share targets.
  • Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve peak performance.
  • Ensure seamless execution of promotional campaigns and sales initiatives.
  • Collaborate with marketing, logistics, and finance teams for operational efficiency.
  • Monitor daily sales performance and provide guidance for improvement.
  • Identify new business opportunities, prospects, and untapped markets.
  • Maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key customers.
  • Conduct field visits to evaluate market needs and competitor activities.

Requirements

  • HND / B.Sc Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years experience in sales management or territory/area sales roles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and make strategic decisions.
  • Must be able to travel within assigned territories.
  • Proven track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team management abilities.
