Job Description

• We are seeking a talented and driven Backend Developer to join our dynamic team.
• In this role, you will be at the heart of developing and maintaining our robust payment infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create backend systems that handle high volumes of transactions and provide seamless payment experiences for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and database systems for our payment platform.
• Optimize system performance to handle large-scale, high-traffic environments.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues to ensure system reliability and uptime.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and integrate them into the development process where applicable.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while following best practices and coding standards.
• Implement secure and scalable solutions to ensure data protection and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a backend developer, preferably in the fintech or payment solutions sector.
• Proficiency in backend programming languages such as PHP and Node.js.
• Strong experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL etc.).
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards in the payments industry (e.g., PCI DSS).
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Expertise in developing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
