Business Controller at Nutri K Limited

Nutri K Limited is a subsidiary of Nutriset Group which was established to provide technical support in the specialized manufacturing, commercialization and distribution process of ready to-use food for the treatment and prevention of malnutrition in Nigeria. With a population of nearly 180 million people, Nigeria is the biggest economy in Africa. However, every year, over 500.000 children under the age of five years old die from malnutrition. About 1.7million of Nigerian children suffer from severe acute malnutrition, and close to a third of the 10 million under 5 age children suffer from chronic malnutrition; NUTRIK LTD is dedicated to the fight against malnutrition in Nigeria. The company specialized in manufacturing nutritional food used for the care of children affected by malnutrition. NUTRIK supplies humanitarian and health programmes with high quality ready-to-use-therapeutic and supplementary food (RUTF, RUSF), as well as lipid-based nutrient supplements (LNS).

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Overall Mission
General Objective:

• The business controller will be responsible for providing the economic and financial analyzes necessary for strategic management and supporting the operational teams and project teams in the financial management of their activity.

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Assist in the development and implementation of strategies on sustainability and environmental cost accounting.
• Consult with business units by providing the financial views for business plans, Key Performance Indicators (KPI), process development and so on.
• Develop and implement methods, systems, and decision-making models.
• Evaluate and appraise investments, capital expenditures and financing of projects and provide guidance and recommendations.
• Manage and monitor financial control systems.
• Oversee business control, planning and management reporting.
• Perform the CAPEX Evaluation on projects.
• Review and analyze cost efficiency and its impact on value creation.
• Review and analyze working capital to achieve optimization.
• Review offering on product pricing strategies with financial consequences.
• Review, analyze and improve cost to achieve cost efficiency.
• Support all business units with insights to make informed decisions towards achieving the company's objectives.
• Animate the stages of budget construction, revised and monthly reviews with operational managers by proposing ways to improve performance.

• Set up internal control procedures and bring the "Management control" process to life within the framework of our Quality policy.
• Control inventory operations of goods and finished products.
• Participate in the implementation, administration and development of the new ERP.

Requirements / Skills

• Education Degree: Degree in Finance, Business Management, Accountancy, or any other related field.
• Work experience: 8 years minimum experience as business controller + 4 years minimum experience in accounting.
• Experience of processing and reporting performance data.
• Experience of solving technical problems and providing solutions.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience of using database systems and manipulating data.
• Confidentiality.
• Language skills: English
• Computer skills: MS Word, MS Excel & Outlook Other required skills:
• Certificate in IT or any other related field.
• Experience of using MS office applications; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
