Job Title: Cashier

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• We are looking for cashier responsible for accurately handling customer transactions, receiving payments, issuing receipts, and ensuring proper cash management. The role requires honesty, attention to detail, and excellent customer service to support smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive payments by cash, POS, transfer, or other approved payment methods
• Accurately process sales transactions and issue receipts to customers
• Ensure the cashier area is clean, organized, and secure
• Report discrepancies, shortages, or excess cash to management promptly
• Follow company policies, financial procedures, and security guidelines
• Balance cash drawer and POS records at the end of each shift
• Maintain proper records of daily transactions and prepare cash reports
• Handle customer inquiries professionally and resolve basic complaints
• Support other administrative or sales duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification with 2-4 years experience.
• Ability to use POS machines and handle cash accurately
• Good communication and customer service skills
• High level of honesty, integrity, and reliability
• Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role is an advantage
• Basic numeracy and record-keeping skills

Salary
N1,400,000 - N1,800,000 / Annum.
