Job Title: Marketer

Location: Benin City, Edo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Responsible for maximizing a hotel's revenues by developing programs to increase occupancy and make profitable use of accommodation, meeting and leisure facilities.
  • Maintain awareness of the hotel’s facilities to the customers.
  • Responsible for coordinating marketing and promotional activities of the hotel.
  • Identify resources that appeal to customers’ satisfaction.
  • Monitor response of the customers using the hotel facilities.
  • Ensure that customers have access to the hotel information website for reservation
  • Act as public relations officer of the hotel.
  • Plan to develop promotions for the hotel
  • Collect contacts to reach potential customers for reservations
  • Ensure the comfort of the customers in the hotel.
  • Ensure increase of occupancy at all times.
  • Ensure building of a stable revenue base for high levels of repeat business
  • Develop strong customer relations.
  • Ensure protection of customers’ loyalty and reward customers who book regularly.
  • Work closely with the hotel management team to identify marketing priorities.
  • Review future booking levels to plan dates for promotions to increase occupancy rates.
  • Work with the event management team to schedule marketing to attract additional conferences and events.

Requirements

Job Title: Internal Auditor

Location: Benin City, Edo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Carry out payroll audits before payments for proper accountability.
  • Monitor all revenue points in the hotel to ensure accountability.
  • Verify the physical checks of stocks in the stores with records.
  • Verity all stocks received into the stores and update the records.
  • Ensure monthly stocktaking exercise to ensure re-order.
  • Verify quotations of goods and consider them appropriately for action.

  • Carry out surprise cash counts on the cashiers.
  • Report all cases of improprieties, fraud, irregular practices, etc in writing to the CEO without delay.
  • Carry out system audits to ensure internal control is adhered to, and report exceptions for further necessary action.

Job Title: Front Office Personnel / Guest Service Agent

Location: Benin City, Edo

Job Description

  • Ensure that the job is performed in this department without delay
  • Ensure that services rendered are properly and timely reported to the account department on daily basis, showing expected income and related cost.
  • Liaise with the Guest and act as the Hotel Public Relation Officer

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic

Job Title: Cashier

Job Description

  • Assist the accountant
  • Assist for the withdrawals from banks for office use.
  • Ensure disbursement of cash/cheque on the basis of well approved payment vouchers.
  • Ensure that cash sheet are prepared on daily basis where- in all cash withdrawn from the bank for office use, official receipts, tellers and all payments voucher paid are recorded, and balanced.
  • Ensure that closing cash balance as per the cash sheet must agree with the physical cash balance on a daily basis.
  • Maintain a register of all payments and analyzed into departments.
  • Assist to pay into bank account all daily receipts.
  • Ensure that duplicate copies of bank tellers and cash receipts are passed to the appropriate officers.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the office and yourself at all times.

Job Title: Night Duty House Keeper (Male)

Location: Benin City, Edo

Description

  • Ensure that the room is kept neat at all times.
  • Ensure that the bed is well spread and looking attractive at all times.
  • Take daily stock of equipment and items in the rooms.
  • Ensure that tissue soap etc are available at the rooms at all times.
  • Assist guest when they are checking out and take stock of all items immediately.
  • Ensure that used bed-sheets is changed on daily basis and laundry.
  • Assist guest in all other capacity that may be necessary.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned by management from time to time.

Job Title: Driver

Location: Benin City, Edo

Job Description

  • Ensure daily cleanliness of the vehicle
  • Ensure the vehicle is working condition.
  • Report any fault to appropriate authority
  • Inform management of any related document of vehicle that is due to expire for renew.
  • Ensure compliance to traffic rules and regulation when driving.
  • Ensure to communicate the authority of the movement of vehicle outside the hotel premises.
  • Ensure that movement of vehicle is registered at the gate before leaving the premises.
  • Ensure to have movement of vehicle register copy with you and security.

Job Title: Security Guard / Personnel

Location: Benin City, Edo
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Monitor movement of guest within the premises
  • Ensure search of all in-coming and out- going vehicles
  • Conduct proper search on contractors
  • Ensure vehicles are parked in an orderly manner
  • Conduct proper search of staff coming-in and going-out at all times and ensure proper documentation of staff valuables
  • Prevention of fire out break and fire -fighting.
  • Ensure the safety of lives, property and facilitation at all times.
  • Maintain a register of all goods and equipment coming into and going out
  • Participate in checking goods into the store and ensure they sign appropriate column.
  • To ward off intruders undesirable elements from the premises and its environs.
  • To liaise with other security agents as need arises.
  • To direct guest coming to make enquires to the appropriate authority.

Job Title: Pastry Cook

Location: Benin City, Edo

Responsibilities

  • Consulting with the Executive Chef and other Chefs to plan menus.
  • Executing pastry orders for catered events and accommodating special requests.
  • Demonstrating skill in baking pastries, desserts, cakes, cookies, sweets, and pies.
  • Creating enticing confectionery decorations and delicious pastry fillings, as well as keeping abreast of new pastry baking techniques.
  • Applying classic pastry baking techniques when preparing traditional pastries.
  • Adding novel, creative, and delicious pastry items to the existing selection.
  • Maintaining the good running order of specialized pastry baking equipment.
  • Preparing work schedules and keeping pastry section records.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / Associate Degree in Baking and Pastry Arts, or similar preferred.
  • Post-secondary vocational training at a culinary institution would be advantageous.
  • 2 or more years of experience as a Pastry Cook, Baker, or similar.
  • Advanced knowledge of traditional pastry baking techniques.
  • In-depth knowledge of food industry regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
