Job Title: Database Administrator
Location: Lagos Island, Lagos

Job Summary

• We are looking for a skilled Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team and play a key role in supporting our mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle Database software.
• Manage database objects (tables, indexes, views, procedures, triggers).
• Ensure database security, access controls, and compliance with audits.
• Troubleshoot incidents, manage change requests, and maintain documentation.
• Support database re-architecting, new instance creation, and optimization projects.
• Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Administer Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and high availability configurations.
• Implement monitoring tools (OEM, AWR, ASH) and resolve performance issues.
• Design and manage RMAN-based backup and recovery strategies.

What We’re Looking For

• Interested candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree with 5 - 8 years of experience.
• Expertise in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and automation.
• Solid understanding of security, compliance, and high-availability solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proven experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, AWR/ASH.

Salary
N350,000 - N600,000 per month.
