Job Title: Director, Fundraising

Location: Apapa, Lagos

Job Description

• Are you passionate about building an institution characterized by excellence? Do you have at least 8 years of Marketing, Fundraising or Investor/Donor relations experience?
• The Director, Fundraising will ideally be domiciled in Nigeria and responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies in Nigeria and across Africa, cultivating and managing high-profile donor portfolios.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, Finance, Marketing, or related fields. 
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in marketing, fundraising, investor/donor relations or a similar role
• Experience with managing diverse stakeholders including C-suite executives.
• A go-getter, strong work ethic, problem-solving, and a result-oriented mindset 
• Strong oral, interpersonal, writing and presentation skills. 
• Able to work in a start-up environment and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated access to high-profile donor communities in Nigeria and Africa
• Ability to think strategically, out of the box, and be innovative as well as strong people and networking skills.
