Job Title: Relationship Manager, Commercial Banking Divison

Location: Nigeria

Description

  • To give leadership and direction required to ensure that customer relationships are developed and maintained by providing excellent financial products and services that add value to the customer while minimizing costs and risk to the bank

Functions and Responsibilities

  • Draw up work schedules for identifying and marketing prospective customers
  • Maintain good public relations with current and prospective customers
  • Plan and report on Marketing calls for the unit
  • Structure credit facilities to address customers needs and prepare/review credit proposals with the Group Head
  • Monitor and ensure customers’ compliance with credit agreements
  • Present to and defend proposals before the Credit Committee
  • Provide on-the job training for Account Officers
  • Negotiate foreign exchange and credit rates with customers within limits set by the bank to ensure maximum profitability to the bank
  • Monitor the unit’s performance against monthly/quarterly/annual plans
  • Prepare the Team’s annual budget for consolidation and incorporation into the Group budget by the Group Head
  • Prepare and present the Unit’s Monthly Profitability Report (MPR) to the Group
  • Appraise supervised Account Officer(s)
  • Achieve self PCE and annual performance targets
  • Prepare periodic reports for Regional Head
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Regional Head

Job Title: Executive Assistant

Location: Nigeria

Description

  • The ideal candidate must be willing to provide support to the GDMD in his daily responsibilities,effectively manage the GDMD’S Office, have strong interpersonal skills, proven ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members, and external partners and possess excellent writing and oral communication skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Management of other staffers attached to the GDMD’s office.
  • Management of Office purse to cater for all personal office expenses.
  • Acts as a first point of contact to the GDMD.
  • Management of the GDMD’s diaries and Schedule.
  • Implementation and maintenance of procedures and administrative systems which include but not limited to managing databases and filing systems.
  • Liaises with Staff, Customers and other stakeholders on behalf of the GDMD.
  • Takes lead on all technological issues in collaboration with IT Representative attached to the GDMD’s office.
  • Other miscellaneous tasks to support the GDMD like management of ad-hoc projects.
  • Coordinates the GDMD’s Logistics and travel plans which includes but not limited to flight booking and making Hotel reservations and managing the GDMD’s immigration details.
  • Organizing and Providing support at all meetings and appointments of the GDMD.
  • Reviews and summarizes all Documents, Letters and legal agreements addressed to the GDMD’s office.
  • Liaises with the Company Secretaries of the companies where the GDMD is a member of the Board and assisting with the compliance of corporate governance requirements.
  • Takes the lead on customer service issues addressed to the GDMD’s office.
  • Tracking of deliverables assigned to Top Level Executives reporting to the GDMD.
  • First Level review and drafting of minutes of the GDMD’S meetings.
  • Preparation of GDMD’s presentations and External Correspondences.

Job Title: Account Officer, Commercial Banking Divison

Location: Nigeria
Job Type: Full time

Description

  • To ensure that customer relationships are developed and maintained by providing excellent financial products and services that add value to the customer while minimizing costs and risk to the bank

Functions and Responsibilities

  • New Business Development
  • Credit processing and Appraisals
  • Close Monitoring of Credit relationships and loan recoveries
  • Maintain good public relations with current and prospective customers
  • Achieving set PCE and Balance Sheet Targets
  • Analyse and interpret financial data and recommend on the credit worthiness of the customer
  • Attend Credit Committee meetings with the Team Leader
  • Prepare periodic reports for the team
  • Assist in preparing the Team’s budget
  • Achieve PCE, Balance and other performance target
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Relationship Manager

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Meeting/exceeding set targets
  • Turn around time on deliverables
  • Rate of customer sign on/ acquisition
  • Exceeding balance sheet/ liability targets
  • Customer satisfaction levels
  • Report rendition (CAC, ALCO, MPR, FSR)
  • Quality of documents:
    • FAM/ FSR
    • MCC Presentation
    • Memos
  • Daily a/c review (Morning & night)

Professional Requirements
Qualification:

  • First degree in any Discipline with a minimum of Second Class honors. Relevant Masters’ degree will be an advantage
  • Professional Membership
  • A recognized professional certification will be an added advantage

Minimum Experience:

  • 1 - 3 years relevant experience; exposure in the marketing of financial services, will be an added advantage

Functions and Responsibilities

  • Implementation of regional commercial banking & state government strategy
  • Definition of marketing and sales strategies of commercial banking division
