Job Description

• GE Gas Power is seeking a Finance trainee to join the SSA Finance team that is currently transforming the way the business financials are monitored and reported at a monthly basis.
• You will be instrumental in organizing the different project scopes, liaising with several teams and delivering the best suitable solution.
• At the end of the 8 months period, you will go through an assessment center and the top candidates will be offered a full time role within the Financial Management Program.

Requirements
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications):

• Bachelor's Degree from accredited university with a minimum of second upper class or equivalent
• 0 - 2 year of experience in the Finance and Accounting (Internship experience included).
• Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Finance or Accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)
• Demonstrated understanding of the major financial statement reports

What will make you stand out:

• Master's Degree from an accredited university or college; and/or an Accounting qualification is a plus.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and / or Accounting from accredited university or college.
• Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Strong presentation and numerical skills
