Job Summary

• Our client is in need of a highly experienced and detail-oriented Internal Auditor with a minimum of 10 years of expertise in the oil and gas sector.
• You will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of our financial and operational processes, identifying areas for improvement, and providing valuable insights to enhance the overall efficiency and compliance of our client.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and lead internal audits in accordance with established audit plans and industry standards.
• Analyze financial data, statements, and reports to identify anomalies, discrepancies, or areas for improvement.
• Work with management to develop action plans in response to audit findings.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation of audit procedures, work papers, and results.
• Foster a collaborative and proactive approach to addressing audit-related issues.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks specific to the oil and gas sector.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and relevant accounting standards.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Professional certification is a plus).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using audit management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in internal auditing.
• Must have oil and gas work experience.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, internal control frameworks, and auditing standards.

Remuneration
N500,000 - N750,000 Salary Monthly.
