Responsibilities

• Customer collection accounts monitoring and reporting. Prompt resolution of customer payment that does not reflect on SAP.
• Payment and reconciliation of Government/Regulatory agency payment (Remita) Processing one-off vendors payments.
• Ensure that all outstanding reconciliatory items are promptly reported for investigation so that cashbook balances at any point in time reflect the Group’s actual position on cash/overdraft balances.
• Check interest, bank fees and LC charges to ensure that they comply with the agreed rates with the banks and to apply for a refund where the overcharge is identified.
• Escalate unresolved issues to line manager and any relevant authority for further investigation and resolution.
• Preparing weekly and monthly Africa Cash report.
• Weekly funding of the various depots’ accounts.
• Bank reconciliation: Ensure that all ledger bank accounts are accurately and timely reconciled with bank statements. Ensuring all bank statements are up to date in the SAP for seamless daily reconciliation.
