We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Payroll Officer
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Duties & Responsibilities

• Collecting daily, weekly and monthly employee time sheets from Biometric Attendance
• Calculate employee time hours. (Worked for .. 8 hours daily according to departmental resumption time
• Prepare employee compensation checks (such as terminal pay or final settlements, statutory and voluntary pension remittance), using excel
• Prepares staff Annual Leave Allowances, Leave Recall, Sunday overtime, monthly incentives and bank schedules for payment
• Ensures back up is regularly taking on biometrics
• Prepare any other staff related entitlement as requested by management
• Journal entry for all payroll related transactions
• Reconciliation of third party/contract employee vendor (High Caliber Ltd- outsourcing contractor) in Navision
• Ensuring taxes comply with company and state tax regulations
• Scheduling electronic payments and handling out pay checks
• Preparing payroll reports. (Such as payee reports for financial year filing, pension reports for annual payroll audit)
• Distributing payment pay statements/ payslips
• Responding to employee questions about compensation, taxes, benefits and deductions
• Entering new employee data into the company database
• Calculate employee benefits and deductions…such as (benefits: daily overtime, weekend incentives, Sunday overtime, monthly special attendance incentive for all production department and special monthly attendance incentive for LOOM department) deductions: absenteeism, suspension and hour cut deductions
• Any other duties that may be assigned.

Requirements

• B.Sc / HND
• 3 years experience.

Salary
N140,000 - N150,000 monthly
