The College of Nursing and Midwifery, Vom was established in 1923 and is the oldest tertiary institution in Plateau State. Its serene location in Vom makes it conducive for leaming and a centre of academic excellence.

Job Title: Provost

Location: Vom, Plateau

Job Description

• The Provost is the Chief Executive Officer of the College.
• He/She is the Accounting Officer of the College and shall be responsible for the execution of the policies of the Council and day-to-day administration of the College.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Minimum of Master's Degree in Nursing or Midwifery
• Must be an indigene of Plateau State with not less than twenty (20) years working experience.
• Sufficient evidence of continual scholarship and contributions to knowledge through publications in reputable peer reviewed journals both within and outside the Country
• Any higher qualification will be an added advantage
• Candidates must not be less than 45 years of age.
• Must have a postgraduate Diploma in Education or its equivalent and Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as a Nurse / Midwife Educator.
• Must be a licensed Nurse / Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria
• Must be a Chief Lecturer as at the time of applying

Salary / Allowances / Fringe Benefits
Successful candidates shall be entitled to salary, allowances and other fringe benefits similar to those of other sister tertiary institutions in Plateau State.
