Job Title: Quantity Surveyor 

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for a Quantity Surveyor at DESCON Engineering Limited located in Port Harcourt.
• The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for tasks such as cost control, preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ), cost management, cost planning, and cost reporting.
• The Quantity Surveyor will work closely with the project team to ensure adherence to project budgets and provide accurate cost estimates.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in cost control, cost management, and cost planning
• Experience in preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and cost reporting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well in a team and meet deadlines
• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
• Professional certification in Quantity Surveying is a plus
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
• Attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
