We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the cost estimation and material control of the construction sites
• Monitor and keep track of the project cost from the start to completion of the projects.
• Ensure the project timelines are adhered to within set budget and quality standard.
• Provide estimates and monitor project costs, material resources and equipment.
• Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders – contractors, workmen, construction professional team, clients.
• Provide and maintain vendors register to procure resources and construction materials at best quality and cost effective.
• Ensure high level of quality and standard are met to client and project specification.
• Identify opportunities to improve project value at reduced costs.
• Proffer advise and recommendations on best construction materials based on safety, suitability and cost.
• Prepare tenders and contract management documents as required.
• Prepare and monitor project budgets while adopting cost saving techniques.
• Proactively identify, assess and mitigate risks factors in a project and escalate it as soon as necessary.
• Prepare necessary project report at regular intervals to update the stakeholders.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety requirements are adhered to.

Qualification/Experience

• Degree or Master's in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering with 5 years’ project management experience. 
• Knowledge of relevant software.
• Knowledge of the project time schedule is important.

• Excellent knowledge of design and visualisation software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Estimating Software, and Microsoft Office skills

• Good initiative and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of quality assurance and compliance
• Ability to work on multiple projects

• Time management and organization skills
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in site layout, grading, and design

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 monthly.
