We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 



Job Title: Sales Support Officer
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

General Description / Responsibilites

  • Proactively discover and research industry opportunities; prove market demand for products/ services
  • Identify and qualify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services to management
  • Uncover market challenges that will prevent product adoption and suggest solutions
  • Qualify leads from market research
  • Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction; communicate qualified prospects to the sales team
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients andSales executives
  • Present competitive analysis and market intelligence
  • Report independent research and sales results (weekly/monthly/quarterly)
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services offered in the market and develop pricing/business models
  • Measure marketing campaigns; ensure results generate sales opportunities
  • Contact clients through cold calls and emails; grow the relationship
  • Create presentations for the company that will empower sales efforts
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Chief Executive Officer and reporting manager

Educational Qualification

  • BSc degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field. MBA a plus

Work Experience / Requirements:

  • Proven work experience in Business Development,Sales, Account Managementor similar role
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Ability to create and deliver engaging presentations
  • Ability to conduct research and interview clients
  • Basic knowledge in generating process documentation, product specifications, research strategies and surveys
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
