We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

A role is open for a senior accountant to administer day-to-day finance and accounting operations as well as financial reporting, reconciliations and compliance.

Responsibilities
The Senior Accountant is responsible for:

Creating systems for managing day-to-day finance and accounting operations
Continually developing and implementing systems for improving and streamlining finance and accounting operations
Creating systems for ensuring compliance with tax regulations and obligations
Developing systems for reviewing and improving accounting processes for accuracy and efficiency
Develop templates for monitoring accounts payable and receivable while ensuring proper cash flow management
Educating staff on key accounting principles and operating procedures
Creating systems for proper revenue and expense recognition
Ensure financial and accounting operations comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Coordinating and overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial statements with emphasis on accuracy and efficiency
Coordinating audits and liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies

Requirements

HND or BSc in Accounting
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in financial management and accounting
Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with a penchant for accuracy
High level of integrity and ethics.
Proficiency in MS Office applications: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint (Advanced Level Proficiency in MS Excel required)
Proficiency in Accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage

Salary
N380,000 - N500,000 monthly.
