CrusaderSterling Pensions Limited was granted a licence to operate as a pension fund administrator by the National Pension Commission (PENCOM) in accordance with the provisions of the Pension Reform Act of 2004. Summary

• As a Software Developer you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and systems tailored to the unique needs of the pensions industry.
• You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, business analysts, and quality assurance professionals, to deliver high-quality software solutions that empower our clients to make informed retirement decisions.

Responsibilities

• Software Development: Develop and maintain software applications, tools, and systems used in pension fund management, ensuring they meet client and regulatory requirements.
• Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and ensure software solutions meet client needs.
• Security: Implement security best practices to protect sensitive pension-related data and comply with data protection regulations.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating relevant advancements into our software development processes.
• Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing software systems, addressing user-reported issues and ensuring system reliability.
• System Design: Collaborate with architects and other team members to design scalable and efficient software solutions that align with business goals and industry best practices.
• Coding: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Java, Python, or C++ while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Database Management: Design and manage databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and efficient retrieval of pension-related information.
• Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and fix software defects, ensuring the reliability and stability of our applications.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for code, system architecture, and software configurations to facilitate future maintenance and updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of data security and compliance.
• Knowledge of fund fusion application.
• Proven experience in software development. Candidate should have a focus on designing and building scalable applications.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Knowledge of database design and management, including SQL.
