We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Technical Assistant

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

Provide technical assistance in the installation, testing and maintenance of fiber optics cabling.
Pulling and stringing wire/cable on electric poles, laying cable in the ground where required.
Conduct fibre optic cable testing using power meters, OTDRs and other industry standard equipment.
Conduct fibre optic cable testing using power meters, OTDRs and other industry standard equipment.
Undertake periodic preventive maintenance activities and ensure effective fault management.
Conducting regular inspections of fibre links with the aim of locating and repairing any defects detected during the inspections.
Determine solutions to problems and issues that are preventing the fibre optic links from performing optimally
