Job Title: Technical Manager

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Conduct Company Quality/Health and Safety (OH&S/ISM) and Environmental Audits.
• Oversee vessels repair and maintenance
• Introduce, adjust, and distribute procedures and work instructions that relate to technical matters.
• Ensure compliance with all classes, flag state or any other standards and requirements
• Act as an Intermediate between crew on board and management ashore.
• Manage Technical crew, and make periodic reports on their performance.
• Ensure that updated and detailed specifications of managed vessels are available in the office.
• Organize, coordinate and delegate technical and operations tasks of the technical department

Minimum Requirements

• HND / B.Sc in Mechanical or Marine Engineering
• Previous experience as an Onboard Engineer
• Knowledgeable in perkings and caterpillar engines.
• Strongcompetenceinrepairandmaintenanceofengines
• Excellent teamplayer
• Ready to resume immediately.
• Certificate of competency (OOW)
• STCW certificates
• Relevant HSE certifications

Salary
N500,000 - N700,000 / month.
