Federal University of Technology, Minna, Nigeria is one of the specialized third generation Universities established in 1983 with the aim of creating high level manpower in the area of Science, Engineering and Technology. The University has over the years remained focused on its original mission and objectives. Today, the University has Ten (10) Schools including a Postgraduate School, 46 Academic Departments and seven Centres. The University offers One Hundred and Eighty-three (183) programmes at Undergraduate, Masters and Doctorate levels. The University currently has a population of 21,958 undergraduate and 3,559 postgraduate students with about 2,383 staff.

Location: Minna, Niger

Requirements

• Applicants must have First Class degree or Second Class degree (Upper Division) in the relevant field.
• Must be Computer Literate.

Job Title: Assistant Lecturer

Location: Minna, Niger

Requirements

• Applicants must have a Master’s Degree with not less than 3.50 CGPA in the relevant field and must show evidence of teaching and research potential or experience.
• Must be Computer Literate.

• CONUASS 2.

 

Job Title: Lecturer II

Location: Minna, Niger

Requirements

• Applicants should possess a PhD Degree or Master’s Degree with considerable teaching/ industrial experience and two (2) points from publications.
• Candidate must have a minimum of Second Class Lower degree apart from the postgraduate degree(s).
• Must be a registered member of their own professional bodies.
• Must be Computer Literate. 

 

Job Title: Lecturer I

Location: Minna, Niger

Requirements

• Applicants should possess a PhD Degree in the relevant field with a minimum of three (3) years teaching and research experience and a minimum of four (4) points in publications out of which two (2) must be from reputable journals.
• Candidate must have a minimum of Second Class Lower degree apart from the postgraduate degree(s).
• Must be a registered member of their own professional bodies.
• Must be Computer Literate.

Job Title: Senior Lecturer

Location: Minna, Niger

Requirements

• Applicants should possess a PhD Degree in the relevant field with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience as Lecturer I plus six (6) points from publications of which four (4) must be from reputable journals, or a PhD Degree holder from a relevant research institute with substantial research experience, in addition to six (6) points from publications, out of which four (4) must be from reputable journals.
• Candidate must have a minimum of Second Class Lower Degree apart from the postgraduate Degree(s).
• Must be a registered member of their own professional bodies.
• Must be Computer Literate.

Job Title: Associate Professor

Location: Minna, Niger

Requirements

• Applicants should possess a PhD Degree in the relevant field with a minimum of three (3) years as Senior Lecturer plus a minimum of ten (10) points from publications of which six (6) must be from reputable journals.
• Candidate must have a minimum of second class lower degree apart from the Postgraduate Degree(s)
• Must be a registered member of their own professional bodies.
• Must be Computer Literate. 

Salary Grade

• CONUASS 6.

 

Job Title: Professor 

Location: Minna, Niger

Requirements

• Applicants should possess a PhD degree in the relevant field with a minimum of three (3) years as Associate Professor plus a minimum of fifteen (15) points from publications of which ten (10) must be from reputable journals.
• Candidate must have a minimum of second class lower degree apart from the Postgraduate Degree(s)
• Must be a registered member of their own professional bodies.
• Must be Computer Literate.

Salary Grade

• CONUASS 7.
