Apple & Pears Limited was incorporated in the year 2012 as an Agro-Allied & food industry to produce soya meal, concentrate and finished feed for the poultry, and refined edible oil, mayonnaise, ketchup, salad cream, vinegar, and custard powder for the Nigerian market.

The company has invested millions of dollars in land, building, construction of infrastructural facilities and machinery, with one goal in mind and that is to have an integrated facility encompassing the complete value chain of the soya bean business, from sourcing, processing, and extraction to the packaging and distribution of a wide range of soya products. With an extensive distribution network which enables the company to market its product rangea wide range of markets, making a strong impact on the refined oil market segment and feed mill industry in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Locations: Lagos and Ibadan - Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

Process account payable and cash disbursement functions, including weekly check run.
Track and process payments for outgoing referral business.
Maintain vendor files and act as primary liaison to vendors.
prepare month-end reconciliations and journal entries.
Assist with annual budgeting process.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or HND in Finance or Accounting
Strong analytical skill including the ability to read and assess datasets and company financial statements profitability, cash flow and projections.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
ICAN, ACCA or a student member.
1 - 3 years post NYSC experience working with any FMCG firm
Proficiency in accounting software and IT savvy
Must reside in Lagos/Ibadan or willing to relocate
