Job Title: Accounts Officer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for handling financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the company’s overall financial management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve company growth targets.
  • Record and reconcile daily financial transactions.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Support external and internal audits.
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with accounting policies and regulations.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance department as required.
  • Prepare financial statements, invoices, and reports.
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
  • Ensure timely processing of payments and collections.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).

Salary
