Job Summary

• We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Biology Teacher to join our dynamic team.
• The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a deep understanding of the Nigerian-British curriculum.
• This role requires a professional who can engage students with innovative teaching methods and utilize technology effectively in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the Nigerian-British curriculum.
• Develop engaging and interactive PowerPoint presentations to support lesson delivery.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
• Utilize Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint, to enhance teaching and administrative tasks.
• Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
• Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback and support.
• Participate in curriculum development and school events.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a First Degree, B.Ed / B.A / B.Sc or Masters with PGDE qualification in relevant discipline, teaching qualifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.
• Excellent computer skills and the ability to integrate technology into teaching.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• At least 2 - 5 years teaching experience to cover both local and international curricular e.g. IGCSE, SAT, TOEFL, WASCE etc.
• Cambridge IGSCE Certification.
• Familiarity with the Nigerian-British curriculum and its assessment methods.
