We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Chef Location: Abuja

Job Description

Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, like knives, pans and kitchen scales
Study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients
Cook food in a timely manner.
Monitor food stock and place orders
Check freshness of food and discard outofdate items
Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area

Requirements

A minimum of 5 years experience and above in the hotel industry
Kitchen chefs/cooks must be experienced in the preparation of vast national (local) and continental food menus.
The candidate must be experienced in catering for outdoor events on a regular basis.
The candidate must be able to develop and implement a strict hygienic food preparation process in the kitchen area.
Applicants must reside in Abuja
Proven work experience as a Chef or Cook
Advanced knowledge of culinary, baking and pastry techniques.
