We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Client Acquisition Officer

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• You’ll be the frontline force in identifying, engaging, and converting high-value investors (VCs, angel investors, corporate partners) and strategic clients (B2B/B2G). 
• This is a high-impact, results-driven role blending sales, negotiation, and relationship-building to fuel our growth.

Responsibilities

• Research and target potential investors aligned with urban mobility/transportation trends.
• Pitch the company’s vision, financial model, and growth potential through decks, meetings, and networking events
• Develop incentive programs to attract early adopters.
• Maintain a CRM (e.g., HubSpot) to track leads, follow-ups, and conversions.
• Collaborate with leadership to refine pitch materials and financial projections.
• Monitor competitor funding rounds and investor activity to identify opportunities.
• Structure and negotiate term sheets, partnerships, and funding agreements.
• Secure pre-launch commitments from corporate clients (e.g., businesses, universities, municipalities) for bulk services or partnerships

Qualifications

• 3+ years in B2B sales, investor relations, or business development (startup/transportation/tech experience a plus).
• Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity (early-stage startup experience preferred)
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of transportation laws and regulations.
• Proven record of closing investment or enterprise contract deals
• Exceptional communicator—able to distill complex ideas into compelling pitches.
• A network of contacts in impact investing or urban transportdevelopment is highly desirable.
• Available to resume within 2 Weeks.
