We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities

• Design and implement infrastructure automation
• Implement and maintain network security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls, to safeguard VPN connections and data
• Manage and optimize version control systems (e.g., Git) and branch strategies
• Monitor and optimize VPN performance, ensuring low latency, high availability, and scalability to accommodate growing network demands.
• Create and maintain disaster recovery plans and backup strategies to ensure data integrity and business continuity
• Maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, processes, and best practices.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds, testing, and deployment, ensuring a smooth and reliable release process.
• Design, configure, and maintain VPN solutions to establish secure and private network connections within the organization, considering various VPN types (e.g., Site-to-Site, Remote Access, SSL VPN)
• Monitor and optimize the CI/CD pipeline for performance and efficiency.
• Optimize existing infrastructure to reduce costs
• Utilize containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes) to manage and deploy applications in a containerised environment.
• Set up and manage monitoring and logging solutions to track system and application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
• Implement security best practices throughout the DevOps pipeline, including vulnerability scanning, compliance checks, and access controls.

Experience

• 4 years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or related roles.
• Solid scripting and programming skills (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Github CI, Jenkins, Travis CI, GitLab CI/CD).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, and Google Cloud).
